Tony Blair, former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and recipient of GQ’s Philanthropist of the Year award has reportedly noticed that the word “Year” is subtly underlined on his award, and is beginning to wonder why.
“It’s weird. It’s like they’re emphasizing that it only applies to the period from September 2013 to September 2014, and not any time period other than that. Which is quite odd.” He told Sealion News.
“Oh.” He said, grasping the point. “They mean all those dead Iraqis, don’t they? Yeah, and since I haven’t had any killed this year, that’s probably what made me qualify for this. Wow, they’ve set the bar pretty low eh?”
