Hand Dryers Are Not Soap, Study Finds

A recent study from the University of Leeds in Leeds has determined that hand dryers are less effective at killing germs in public bathrooms than soap.

The study, which was conducted because reasons, found that the higher the velocity of the air, the more germs were scattered from a person’s hands into the surrounding air, with paper towels being the second least effective method to launch germs into the air behind soap, which just kills the germs outright.

“Yeah. You should probably just wash your hands instead of trying to blow dry them to death with a hand dryer.” One of the scientists on the research team told us.
