While perusing his connections on LinkedIn, the business social networking site, Timothy Aquarian noticed that a 2nd level connection, Bethany Seahorse, had clearly used a photograph taken of her while attending an event at a local club on Ladies’ Night as her profile picture.
“At first, I wasn’t sure what to make of it. I just thought it was like any photo, but there was something off about it. The background was very dark, but there was that purple light being cast on the wall. Obviously, she was dressed very professionally, so there was nothing off there, but the beaded necklace she was wearing seemed a little too gold. And why was she wearing three? Finally, I noticed that there was a guy in a speedo in the background in the middle of throwing a pair of tearaway pants into the crowd behind her. And so it was about then that I realized that she’d used a picture from a bachelorette party or something.”
But Timothy also learned a little something useful for himself.
“I think I’m going to use a different picture for my profile on there. I definitely now think that the beer bong was a bad idea. As was not wearing a shirt and being on a jetski. That was an awesome weekend though.”
