Senator Ted Cruz blasted President Obama today after hearing of a proposal to spend thirty million dollars to send a probe to Europe.
“Thirty million dollars is an outrage! How can this President look congress in the face and ask for such an obscene amount of money to go somewhere he’s been countless times before for significantly less. This is just another in the long line of totally legitimate, and not at all made up, reasons for impeachment.” The Senator from Texas said.
Asked for comment, President Obama deadpanned “I’m shocked. The current chairman of the subcommittee on Space, Science and Competitiveness has no clue that Europa is one of Jupiter’s moons. But then I suppose I should have guessed something was wrong with that guy when he suggested I make Jenny McCarthy the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services. I would like to think that it was because of her work during the nineties, but I know it’s not.”
“I know it’s not.” He repeated, sadly.
