5 Things You Already Knew About Star Wars

In honour of today being Star Wars Day, Sealion News is pleased to present you five facts that you already knew about the saga that changed the world.

#5 – The Best

Episode 5, The Empire Strikes Back, is widely regarded as the best movie of all of the current six films in the saga.  This is because it is awesome.  There are other reasons, dramatic story line, cliff hanger ending, memorable plot twist, character development, yada, yada, yada, but all of those reasons are mere components that add up to Empire Strikes Back being the best film.

#4 – The Worst

The first episode of the prequel trilogy, The Phantom Menace held the spot of Worst Star Wars film for a total of 3 years, until it was supplanted by Attack of the Clones, the now recognized leader in awful star wars films.  Attack of the Clones was so bad, that even the possibility of the inclusion of the Disney character of Goofy in the upcoming sequel trilogy would not make those films worse than Attack of the Clones.

#3 – The Clumsy Stormtrooper

Everyone knows about the stormtrooper in the background who bumps his head on the door as it opens.  Everyone also knows that Jango Fett bumped his head getting into Slave One in Episode two.  Everyone also knows that this fact shows up on lists of things you “didn’t know about Star Wars”, despite the fact that everyone knows about it.

#2 – Coolest Starfighter

Incom’s T-65 X-Wing Starfighter is the coolest Starfighter in the galaxy.  The computer game of the same name cemented its legacy as the only Starfighter worth dreaming about flying.

#1 – The Force Awakens On December 16th

On December 15th of this year, one of two things will happen.  Either the Force will be with JJ Abrams, or millions of souls will cry out in terror at Jar Jar 2.0.

What could be.
What could be.
