BC, Saskatchewan Close Borders As Thousands Flee Alberta

The governments of British Columbia and Saskatchewan were forced to close their borders to Alberta this morning, as all entrances to those provinces from Alberta became clogged with people making good on their promise to leave, should the NDP win the election on Tuesday.

Included in those attempting to flee the province were multiple candidates for the Wildrose party, who were attempting to claim political asylum.

As of press time, neither government had given any indication of reopening the borders.
