Sadly, the announcement rapidly devolved into a listing of shows you can see on the video streaming service.
“Marvel’s Daredevil, that’s another one. House M.D., that is also a good one, but only available on the American site. Lie To Me. Family Guy. It is a shame that quality shows like 30 Rock and Parks And Recreation are only on the American site, I thoroughly enjoy those television shows as well.”
“I also enjoy watching movies such as South Park: Bigger, Longer, & Uncut, Transformers, and all of your other favourite movies from today and yesterday.”
The Prime Minister then went on to repeat his message in French before returning in English with “Paul, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, We’re The Millers, Supernatural, American Dad, Community, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay: Part One, Coming To America, Futurama, and Wet Hot American Summer: The Movie.”
As of press time, it is widely considered that the Prime Minister is attempting to sour the impression of Netflix in the minds of Canadian’s in favour of their competitors Shomi and CraveTV.
